Beowulf adds lightweight cipher software encryption application modules embedded into devices and to provide encryption facilities close to the client.

We are well aware that many lower cost IoT devices have limited available footprint in terms of processor power and memory and are designed to operate in the field for years on a single set of batteries.

Yet despite this, the information from these devices can be of crucial importance. For such devices, any encryption application must fit within the footprint, have no impact on battery use, maintain the message size and add little latency or delay to message throughput.
